Programme Overview<\/h4>\n

The Certificate in Agriculture is an entry-level programme that provide students with the opportunity to obtain knowledge and experience in Agriculture at the university level. This 1 year programmes provides a solid platform for students to continue onto the BSc in Agriculture. The programmes consist of foundation courses in the general sciences and applies these theoretical concepts in the application of crop and livestock production, soils and the environment, and food quality and safety. This programme is highly hands-on and allow students to gain practical experience in a variety of agriculture settings.<\/span><\/p>\n

PROGRAMME GOAL <\/strong>
The main goal of the UWI undergraduate certificate in agriculture is to enhance access to training in agriculture and to increase the availability of human resources with post-secondary certification in agriculture to support the development of the food and agriculture sector.<\/p>\n
