MINOR IN CARIBBEAN SIGN LANGUAGE

Pre-requisites for this Minor are:

LING 1001 Introduction to Phonetics and Phonology
LING 1002 Introduction to Morphology and Syntax
LING 1005 Introduction to Language

The Minor consists of fifteen (15) Level II/II credits:

Level II

LING 2204 Deaf Language and Culture
LING 2819 Structure and Usage of Caribbean Sign Language I
LING 2820 Structure and Usage of Caribbean Sign Language II

EDLA 3113 Structure of Creole OR a Caribbean vernacular structure and usage course, such as LING 2801 Structure and Usage of French-Lexicon Creole 1 (Patois)

Level III

LING 3819 Advanced Caribbean Sign Language
