FREN 3505 French Caribbean Prose

Pre-requisites: FREN 1600 or FREN 1601

The course focuses on the development of French Caribbean prose from the 1930s to the present day with special emphasis on the Négritude movement.

Method of Instruction: 2 lectures and 1 tutorial per week
Assessment: 40% in-course assessment (2 coursework assignments - 30% and 1 exposé/class participation - 10%), 60% final examination
