This course prepares teachers to design curricula appropriate to the goals of their diverse student groups, and to modify existing curricula in concern for the range of needs perceived and existing resource bases. Without such competencies, they will only be able to reproduce what others have created instead of responding creatively themselves to changing needs, constraints, and concerns.

Method of Instruction: 3 weekly seminar hours
Assessment: 50% in-course assessment and 50% final examination

This is a course on the Dip TESOL programme, and is normally offered in Semester 2.
