SPAN 2002 Spanish Language 2B

Pre-requisites: SPAN 2001

This course is designed to further the objectives of SPAN 2001 with increasing emphasis on translation, summarising and writing continuous prose in varying formal styles. Students are exposed to a variety of audio-visual and reading material on the themes specified as well as on other subject areas. Thematic areas for this course include education in Spain, Spanish America and the Caribbean and the examination of culture and different cultural manifestations in these areas.

Method of Instruction: 6 contact hours per week
Assessment: 100% in-course assessment
