SPAN 3603 Hispanic Drama

Pre-requisites: SPAN 1001 and any Level II Hispanic Literature course

This course surveys and studies the traditions of drama in Spain and Hispanic America.

Texts are selected from Lope de Vega, Calderón de la Barca, García Lorca, Chocrón, Buenaventura, Marqués and/or any other writer/s that the instructor may consider appropriate.

Method of Instruction: 2 lectures and 1 tutorial per week

Assessment: 40% in-course assessment, 60% final examination
