Dr Amina Ibrahim-Ali teaches in the Academic Literacies Programme within the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics (DMLL) at UWI St. Augustine and contributes to the DMLL\u2019s MA TESOL programme and to the Faculty of Humanities and Education\u2019s Certificate in Humanities. Her work spans academic and creative writing, including children\u2019s literature, journal and newspaper articles, and two co-authored academic book chapters. Dr Amina Ibrahim-Ali\u2019s research is driven by a commitment to addressing real-world challenges in education and community development.<\/p>\n
Dr Ibrahim-Ali has over 17 years of experience as a coordinator, assistant lecturer, and instructor of English as a Second Language (ESL) in the former Department of Liberal Arts and at the Centre for Language Learning (CLL) at The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus. She played a pivotal role in establishing the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test centre at the CLL and served as its administrator until 2019.<\/p>\n
