Anniete is a public policy expert with experience in international development, financial sector, gender and climate change. She currently works as a consultant for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) on issues related to Climate Finance and Climate Change. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Professor and Researcher on Sustainability issues at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic (DR).
Anniete was a leading negotiator of the Paris Agreement, being Co-Chair of an Informal Working Group on Gender and acting G77+ China Coordinator on issues related to Education and Climate Change. Also, she worked at the Superintendency of Banks of the DR as Director of Institutional Strengthening and Technical Advisor to the Superintendent, being responsible for the Strategic Planning, International Relations and Sustainability agenda of the institution (2020-2022). She has also worked with IDB Invest in evaluations of green finance operations, in the implementation of Impact Evaluations with the Vice-Presidency of the Dominican Republic and in the design of poverty alleviation programs with a gender perspective.
Anniete holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship and a B.A. in International Relations from Hult International Business School, London. She has pursued executive education at Harvard Kennedy School, Fudan University and Oxford Said Business School. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and have basic knowledge of French and American Sign Language (ASL). In her spare time, she likes to cook, travel, volunteer, and go dancing.
