As a Macroeconomic Policy Analyst, she has received a wide range of International Monetary Fund (IMF) training to enhance her professional craft including macroeconomic diagnostics, macroeconomic management and regulation in resource-rich economies, and macro-econometric forecasting and analysis. Miss Parke is a passionate believer in economic development and its impact on society but is adamant that economic development cannot and should not be discussed without climate change considerations. To this effect, Najay has pursued several IMF courses in the areas of macroeconomics, inclusive growth, and climate change.

Currently, Najay works as an Economist, performing economic analysis of electricity tariffs, ensuring fair and reasonable rates for customers and reasonable returns for the utility. She led the development and implementation of the Tariff Setting Methodology that guides the determinations of rates in the electricity sector and has received training in analyzing the feasibility of solar systems.
