Dr. Clint Todd Lewis is a progressive and dynamic professional currently serving as a Senior Environmental Health Officer in the Environmental Health Division (EHD), within the Ministry of Health, Wellness, and the Environment. He has worked with the Ministry for the past thirteen (13) years in a variety of areas related to environmental health, environmental management, biodiversity, and climate change. He also has experience working in different cultures on environmental matters with the Environment Department within the government of Mexico and DOMI Earth, an environmental company in Taiwan.
His passion for the environment is complemented by his strong academic background. He attained academic scholarships from the government of Taiwan and the government of Mexico. He obtained his Doctorate in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan, his Master’s in Environment Sustainable Development from the National Central University, Taiwan, with a Bachelor Degree in Biology from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in Climate Change Adaptation and is currently enrolled in a certification program on project management. He is also a proud inductee in the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society's as an Honorary Member.
As an academic researcher and an advocate for addressing the impacts of climate change, Dr. Lewis has several publications on the topic of climate change within the context of Caribbean Small Island Developing States in internationally recognized journals. Fluent in Spanish, he has broadened his network within the Latin America region to further bring recognition to the challenges faced by the impacts of climate change in the Caribbean region.
