Before registration and beginning courses in the Department of Management Studies, the candidate must satisfy the\u00a0University Matriculation Entrance Requirements<\/a>\u00a0for entry to a degree programme.<\/p>\n

\n

Level I Requirements<\/h4>\n

Students must satisfy the requirements for a minimum of\u00a030 credits<\/strong>\u00a0at Level I comprising:<\/p>\n

a. such foundation courses as are required and offered;<\/p>\n

b. other compulsory courses in the chosen degree option, as specified in the Faculty Handbook;<\/p>\n

c. free electives to bring the total credits to 30.<\/p>\n

Requirements for Entry to Levels II and III<\/h4>\n

Students are required to satisfy prerequisites (where they exist) for Levels II and III courses.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Requirements for the Award of the Degree\u00a0<\/p>\n

In order to qualify for the award of a degree, a student must:<\/p>\n

a) have completed a minimum of\u00a090 credits<\/strong>\u00a0(normally equivalent to 30 semester courses) of which at least 30 credits are from Level I semester courses (including the Foundation Course requirement)<\/p>\n

b) have at least\u00a060 credits<\/strong>\u00a0from Levels II and III semester courses<\/p>\n

c) have satisfied the requirements for their specific degree programmes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Degrees are offered in the following categories:<\/h4>\n

Special<\/strong><\/p>\n

Major<\/strong><\/p>\n

Double major<\/strong><\/p>\n
