{"id":239,"date":"2018-08-09T16:20:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-09T20:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sta.uwi.edu\/fss\/dms\/aaatt-uwi-research-collaboration\/"},"modified":"2024-12-16T15:09:14","modified_gmt":"2024-12-16T19:09:14","slug":"aaatt-uwi-research-collaboration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sta.uwi.edu\/fss\/dms\/aaatt-uwi-research-collaboration\/","title":{"rendered":"AAATT \/ UWI Research Collaboration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section admin_label=&#8221;section&#8221;]<br \/>\n\t\t\t[et_pb_row admin_label=&#8221;row&#8221;]<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t[et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">On February 16, 2018, The Advertising Agencies Association of Trinidad and Tobago (AAATT) and the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a collaboration which would see students conducting research on topics provided by the AAATT relevant to the advertising and marketing fields; and the opportunity to supplement their curriculum by presenting their research findings to the AAATT Membership to gain practical experience in the world of work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">The MOU was signed between Pro Vice-Chancellor and St. Augustine Campus Principal, Professor Brian Copeland, and AAATT President,\u00a0Mr. Anthony\u00a0Inglefield for a two-year research partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at the signing was Dr. Acolla Lewis-Cameron, Head of the Department of Management Studies\u00a0and Dr. Barney Pacheco of The UWI.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Dr. Acolla Lewis-Cameron stated that students produce a considerable amount of research on a range of matters which remains of academic interest.
