Members of the MSU journeyed to the beautiful rural village of Plum Mitan in Manzanilla, and presented 17 food hampers to members of the community. Although the distribution of the hampers were based on need and not religion, the MSU was graciously hosted by the local Hindu temple whose members allowed their premises to be used for the distribution of hampers.
