The Unit is an ambulatory health facility, which provides free screening and evaluation by nurses and examinations by general practice physicians as well as specific health promotion activities.<\/p>\n<h2>Division of Student Services and Development<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a title=\"The Division of Student Services and Development\" href=\"https:\/\/sta.uwi.edu\/DSSD\/\">The DSSD<\/a> is committed to the holistic development of students enrolled at The UWI St. Augustine Campus. They are committed to the provision of comprehensive programming and services that support and cater to the diverse and evolving needs of our students.<\/p>\n<h2>Student Life and Development Unit<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a title=\"The Student Life and Development Unit\" href=\"https:\/\/sta.uwi.edu\/dssd\/about-sldd\">The SLDD<\/a> provides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Academic Support to students of the UWI St. Augustine campus at all levels of their academic career.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Providing and ensuring equal access (infrastructure\/academic) to all students who enter the University system with a disability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Students&#8217; Guild<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a title=\"The Students' Guild\" href=\"https:\/\/sta.uwi.edu\/student-guild\/\">The Students&#8217; Guild<\/a> provides student representation at the Faculty Board meetings.
