Christine Lamothe – Senior HR Consultant, HRSG

CHRISTINE LAMOTHE is a Senior HR Consultant and a Director of Business Development at HRSG. She brings over 25 years of work experience to this company. She has served in operational, professional and management positions in the Federal Government, Crown Corporations and the private sector. Her professional career includes work in such diverse fields as Human Resources, Training, Product Development, Marketing and Competency-Based Management.

Christine is a fluently bilingual and pursued her studies and degree in Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa.  She is a Certified Course Instructor (CCI) and Course Designer (CCD), and is an experienced practitioner of the most advanced Adult Learning Systems and Techniques. Christine is particularly well known for her expertise and extensive experience in developing competency-based human resource management programs, tools and processes such as competency models, self-assessment, competency-based interviewing, competency-based human resource planning and development. She has managed and supported many organizations as well as whole occupational groups in defining competency frameworks and in developing and implementing competency-based management solutions to support organizational redesigns and changing environments. Her CBM solutions address recruitment/staffing, learning and development, career development and management, performance management and succession planning issues.

Christine’s work also involves the design, facilitation and delivery of training programs to managers and HR professionals. She is well recognized by her peers in Canada and sought after as a speaker and facilitator on the topic of Competency-Based Management. She has been the subject of several radio and television interviews and newspaper articles.
