The MPhil and PhD programmes are available on a part-time and full-timebasis. Students accepted to the research programmes are expected to conduct original and independent research, and contribute to the research profile of the Faculty of Law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Start Date:<\/strong> September OR January<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AVAILABILITY OF EXPERTISE &amp; RESOURCES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Admission is contingent on whether candidates have a thesis proposal compatible with the expertise and resources available at the Faculty of Law (St. Augustine).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants should ideally possess an LLB with upper second class honours or better and an LLM with merit or better from an approved University. It will be desirable to demonstrate a prior record of research through peerreviewed journal articles, research papers, dissertations, or other relevant publications.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In extraordinary circumstances, applicants possessing other qualifications may be considered for admission.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants are advised to check with the Faculty of Law to determine whether their proposed research area is viable and to obtain more information on therequirements for the research proposal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243;
