The panellists included, Mr. Douglas Mendes SC, President of the Law Association of Trinidad &amp; Tobago; Mr. Mark Pritchard, UK MP and Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on the abolition of the Death Penalty and Ms. Jadia Jn. Pierre a student of the Faculty of Law. Mme Mich\u00e8le Duvivier Pierre-Louis, Commissioner at the International Commission against the Death Penalty (ICDP) and former President of Haiti was scheduled to attend but could not due to an unforeseen circumstance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of its Human Rights project titled \u201cGrowing Capacity for Elevating Trinidad &amp;
