<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The subject of public law is central to the practice of good democratic governance and to the success of CARICOM\u2019s Single Market and Economy. The Public Law pathway will provide graduates with a deeper understanding of issues in the core subjects of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, in addition to other relevant areas of law concerning the regulation of public authorities. This specialism will be useful for senior managers of the public service and other persons who provide legal or policy advice about\/to governments<\/p>\n A UWI LLB degree, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A law degree from a university recognized by the UWI Board for Graduate Studies and Research<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Applicants without a law background may also be considered (subject to additional criteria or conditions<\/em>)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/p>\n Total Credits: 24 credit hours<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Structure: 4 courses \u00d7 6 credits each<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Requirement: The core course in Legislative Drafting and any two other courses in the list of courses for the UWI LLM.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/p>\n Blended Learning Approach: Designed to accommodate an international student body, including the Caribbean diaspora.
