Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in collaboration with The UWI Disaster Risk Reduction Centre, Caribbean Waternet and Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) Presents a Training Workshop titled, Hydro-Climatic Disasters in Water Resources Management. It will take place from December 2nd-4th, 2009, in Design Room 3, 2nd Floor, Block 13, Faculty of Engineering.
Public/private individuals, NGO's/CBO's, social scientists, water and wastewater managers, legal practitioners and staff of local governments areinvited to attend. At the end of this worshop, it is expected that participants will have a greater appreciation of their roles and responsibilities and thus develop collaborative mechanisms towards the reduction of risk associated with hydro-climatic disasters in their communities.
