The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus will host a Distinguished Open Lecture Series entitled, “Cosmic Jackpot: Why our Universe is Just Right for Life” presented by Professor Paul Davies on Friday 16^th November, 2007 at  5:30 p.m. at the Learning Resource Centre, St Augustine Campus.  Professor Davies, a Cosmologist, Astrobiologist andDirector of “Beyond” Research Centre in Arizona State University is also a best-selling author and co-author of twenty-seven books, one of which, “The Mind of God” won him the prestigious Templeton Prize—the world’s largest prize for merit–in 1995.
