On Tuesday 12th January, 2010, at 6 pm, The UWI Project Management Alumni will present the first in its series of seminars on "Changing the Paradigm - New Approaches to Development Assistance" by Matt Uzzell. It will take place at the Faculty of Engineering, room 101.
About Matt Uzzell
Matt is a Programme Manager with Adam Smith International specialising in communication strategy, private sector development, and PPP(Private Public Partnership). He has led a large number of communications assignments for the World Bank, DFID, IADB, UNDP and SIDA. Most recently Matt’s work has focused on developing large infrastructure support programmes and building consensus around government reform issues in transitional and developing countries.
Matt has worked on PPP and private sector development programmes in Rwanda, Tanzania, Nigeria and Botswana and communications assignments throughout Africa, India, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. He currently leads ASI’s $35m Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility and continues to work closely with the Ministry of Public Administration in Trinidad and Tobago in support of the public service reform agenda.
