The Association of Caribbean Historians and the Department of History and Philosophy, Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies will be hosting the 42nd Annual Conference of Caribbean Historians which will take place from May 10^th-14^th, 2010 at the Amaryllis Beach Resort, Barbados. The conference will honor the memory of Walter Rodney (1942-1980) and will have several panels devoted to themes covering the pre and post-emancipation history of the English, French, Spanish and Dutch-speaking, Caribbean. At the various panel sessions, there will be simultaneous translations in French, Spanish, and English.
