The Institute of International Relations will host an Upgrade Assessment Seminar for Ms. Kai Ann Skeete, Ms. Priya Marajh and Mr. David Anyanwu. They are all seeking to upgrade their MPhil degree candidacies, to PhD. This seminar will take place on Monday 17^th May, 2010, from 10 am-2 pm, at the IIR Board Room.  

First Ms. Skeete will present her seminar, titled Contingent Rights in CARICOM: The Governance of the Free Movement of Labour within the CSME, followed by Ms. Marajh who will discuss Religion, Culture, Ethnicity: Call for a Paradigm Shift. Mr. Anyanwu will then take the floor with his presentation on Technical Barriers to Trade in the European Market:  Improving Trade Related Capacity of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Trinidad and Tobago Beverage Sector. At the end of each presentation, there will be a question and answer session and a consultation.
