The Trinidad and Tobago chapter of The UWI Alumni Association (UWIAA) hosts its 2010 Independence Cruise on Independence night, Tuesday August 31st, 2010, at the Treasure Queen, Pier 2. The cruise will take place from 7-10 pm and boarding begins at 6 pm.

 

Cost: $200

 

Tickets purchased before August 8th are $175

 

This cruise is Semi Inclusive – patrons can look forward to a complimentary drink before boarding. There will be a pay bar and food available.

 

The proceeds from the cruise will enable continuation of the UWIAA’s Educational Development programmes, such as the Mentorship programme and the Annual Student Bursary Awards. This year part proceeds from the cruise will also go towards building the “UWIAA House.”
