The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom is now inviting nominations for Fellowships, to be held in the United Kingdom from October, 2011. 

The primary purpose of these awards is to help universities in the developing countries of the Commonwealth to enhance the experience and build up the numbers of their locally-born academic staff, with a view to assisting with the relevant institution’s strategic development plans. 

There are approximately sixty awards to be offered under the scheme. The University of the West Indies is invited to nominate up to ten candidates, to compete for selection/placement.

All applications must reach the Appointments section by 19^th November, 2010. Please read all information provided very carefully.  Incomplete applications as well as those deemed inappropriate to the scheme cannot be considered for nomination.
