IIR hosts Workshop on Trade related Labor and Gender Issues

The UWI Institute of International Relations (IIR), in collaboration with the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC)/National Working Committee on Trade (NWCT), hosts the fourth in a series of Workshops on Trade related Labor and Gender Issues. This workshop will be held on Tuesday  12th October, 2010, from 9 am-4 pm, at the Ministry of Works Conference Room, Tobago. 

This workshop is designed to provide education and build awareness on trade related labor issues in the context of the CARICOM/CANADA Negotiations.  Participants will have an opportunity to explore the issues involved in trade and labor agreements and become more aware of the region’s obligations with regard to International Trade Agreements.
