The EU-funded, Caribbean Fine Cocoa Forum (CFCF) project partners - including the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), the Ministry of Food Production, Land and Marine Affairs (MFPLMA), the Cocoa and Coffee Industry Board of Trinidad and Tobago (CCIB) and the Cocoa Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB) - are pleased to announce the first ever Caribbean Fine Cocoa Conference, scheduled to take place on 22nd November, 2010, from 9am-5.30pm, at the Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre, Trinidad and Tobago.  

Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Grenada, and St Lucia are exclusive “Fine Cocoa” producers and are currently in the process of accelerating development to revitalize the cocoa fields and realize their full potential. The goal of the CFCF is to encourage stakeholders to become viable, sustainable participants in this industry sector, as it brings together researchers, policy-makers and practitioners operating across the entire cocoa value chain.
