The University of the West Indies, Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS)  in association with The United States Embassy invites all to attend a Lunchtime Seminar entitled, “Eliminating Violence against Women and Girls: Perspectives from the United States” a presentation by Vivian Huelgo, Esq. Director, Community Law Project, Sanctuary for Families’ Centre for Battered Women’s Legal Services, New York.

The presentation, part of the ongoing CGDS Lunchtime Seminar Series, will take place in the CGDS Seminar Room on Wednesday 5^th December, 2007 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
