The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) will host its Health Research Day on Thursday 2nd December, 2010, from 11 am-5 pm, at Amphitheatre A, FMS, Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.  

The event will feature over 50 oral and poster presentations, from both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as staff members.

Invited speakers include Dr. Donald Simeon, Director, Caribbean Health Research Council (CHRC), who will speak on the research agenda of the CHRC and funding opportunities available there; and Professor Karl Theodore, Director, Health Economics Unit (HEU), who will discuss the research agenda of the HEU and its opportunites for collaboration.
