The UWI Centre for Creative and Festival Arts (CCFA) will host a production entitled “The Rainmakers” on Saturday 5^th January, 2008 at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) from 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $100.00. Students pay $75.00.

“The Rainmakers” production was written and directed by Franka Hills-Headley of Golden Hands steelband and will feature a wide range of genres performed primarily on the steelpan. This is comprised of eight compositions for the instruments of the steel orchestra and percussion ensemble which includes marimbas, xylophone, timpani and much more.The production will be staged in honour of Dr. Anne Marion Osborne-Coordinator of Music, CCFA, UWI and BertrandKellman, master steelpan builder and tuner.
