Newly appointed University Director of the Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS), Professor Verene Shepherd, will deliver a public lecture at The UWI St. Augustine campus on Thursday 18th November, 2010. Prof Shepherd’s lecture, titled The International Year for People of African Descent: Is the Caribbean Prepared?, will take place at 4:30 pm, at the IGDS Seminar Room.
