The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social & Economic Studies (SALISES) hosts a forum on the topic “The Death Penalty in Trinidad & Tobago,” carded for Wednesday 2nd February, 2011, at 10 am, at the SALISES Conference Room.

This forum will be chaired by Dr. Indira Rampersad, lecturer in International Relations, UWI, and will feature the following panelists:  

  • Mr. Israel B. Khan, SC, Attorney-at-Law
  • Mr. Vernon de Lima, Attorney-at-Law
  • Ms. Verna St Rose-Greaves, Social Worker
  • Mr. Douglas Mendes, SC, Lecturer in Law, University of the West Indies
  • Dr. Randy Seepersad, Lecturer, Criminology Unit, University of the West Indies

 

Members of the general public are invited to attend and take part in the discussions following the presentation of the panelists.
