As a part of its Demas Rampersad Lecture Series, the Department of Economics hosts a presentation by Dr. Moawia Alghalith, lecturer in Economics at the Department, titled “New Theory of Stochastic Optimization with Applications.” The department will also host the first seminar presentation of Mr. Ricardo Lalloo on the topic “Hedging with a Generalized Basis Risk: Empirical Results.” Both presentations will take place on Thursday 10^th March, 2011, beginning at 1 pm, at the Faculty of Social Sciences Lounge.
