The UWI Department of History, in collaboration with the South-South Exchange Programme for Research on the History of Development (SEPHIS), hosts a seminar in commemoration of the United Nations International Year for People of African Descent. This seminar, titled “Health and Development in Africa and the African Diaspora: Benin, Brazil and the British Caribbean 19th Century,” will take place on Wednesday 16th March, 2011, from noon-3.30 pm, at the Daaga Auditorium.
