The UWI Afrikan Society hosts “Harambee… Full Circle,” a concert carded for Friday 22nd July, 2011, from 7-8:30 pm, at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).  

“Harambee,” meaning "all pulling together," is inspired by the story of the Ugandan Child soldiers, also known as the "Children of the Warzone," and seeks to educate and engage the audience in what it means to be African and what African consciousness can entail in contemporary times. This concert will feature entertainment in the form of song, dance and poetry. 

Tickets cost $100.
