The Institute of International Relations (IIR) will host a seminar titled, ‘The Future of Caribbean Regional Integration,’ on Thursday 30th June, 2011, at 4 pm, at the IIR Board Room.
This seminar will highlight key findings from the recent Caribbean Regional Integration study conducted by staff of the IIR and discuss the pertinent issues and challenges currently facing Caribbean integration as revealed through this study, as well as future directions and recommended solutions.
Presenters at the seminar include Dr. Matthew Bishop, Lecturer in International Relations and Lead Author of the report; Professor Emeritus Norman Girvan, (retired) IIR faculty and Joint Lead Author of the report; Sunity Maharaj, Director of the Lloyd Best Institute; and Mr Keston Perry, of the Caribbean Movement for Civil Empowerment.
The seminar is free to attend and is open to the public.
