UWI hosts Wind Energy Workshop

The University of the West Indies, in collaboration with University of Flensburg, Germany, under the International Network for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (INEES) project, hosts a Wind Energy Workshop from August 16th-18th, 2011. This workshop will take place from 9 am-5 pm each day, at the Faculty of Science and Agriculture Conference Room.

Dr. Hermann van Radecke of the University of Flensburg will be the principal facilitator. Participants of this technical workshop can look forward to learning about general wind energy theories and the analysis of wind energy systems, and viewing presentations of state of the art technologies.

At the workshop, the following topics will be addressed:
