The Business Development Office hosts a Research Ethics Workshop from 31^st October-11^th November, 2011, at The UWI St. Augustine Campus.  

From 31^st October-4^th November, the workshops will take place at the UWI Open Campus and from 7^th-11^th November, they will be at the Institute of Critical Thinking.  

This programme aims to build capacity in teaching research ethics and to enhance programmes within The UWI by highlighting the importance of research ethics and mentoring in all areas of Public Health and Research. The seminar, workshops and discussions will be conducted by Joan Pettit, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine IRB. Ms. Pettit is a specialist in the area of Research Ethics and Management of Internal Review Boards.    

This workshop is open to UWI staff and Post Graduate students.
