Professor Kwesi Kwaa Prah lectures on “Pan-Africanism Today”

The Faculty of Social Sciences hosts a lecture by Professor Kwesi Kwaa Prah, Director of the Centre for Advanced Studies of African Society (CASAS) Cape Town, South Africa, on Monday 24th October, 2011, at 5pm, at the Faculty of Engineering 101. Professor Prah will discuss “Pan-Africanism Today,” an especially relevant topic, this being the International Year for Persons of African Descent.

Professor Prah has worked extensively across Africa, Europe and Asia researching and teaching Sociology and Anthropology in various universities. One of Africa’s most distinguished scholars, Professor Prah is a leading intellectual advocate of the 21st century African renaissance.
