Professor June George, UWI School of Education, delivers her Professorial Inaugural Lecture on Thursday 24^th November, 2011, at 5.30 pm, at the Learning Resource Centre. Professor George will discuss the topic “Border crossing: Implications of the information highway for Caribbean education,” where she will draw on the concept of border crossing to examine some of the challenges faced by Caribbean students as they navigate the school system.
