The Department of Computing and Information Technology hosts its 2nd Annual Computing Forum, titled “Fostering Collaboration through Awareness for Research and Technological Development,” on Thursday 2nd February, 2012, from 9am-3pm, at Room B, Frank Stockdale Building, Faculty of Science & Agriculture.

The DCIT Computing Forum is an avenue for researchers within The University and the computer industry to share current research within the context of collaboration, future development and innovation.

It also provides an opportunity for partners in the private and public sector to view the different areas of research conducted by the department, and to provide The University with practical insight, ensuring that research continues to develop in areas important to them.

The Forum not only focuses on research, but also provides an avenue for both undergraduate and postgraduate students within the computing discipline to demonstrate their work before their peers, lecturers and industry partners.
