Join UWI Press authors for Black History Month on Facebook

Event Date(s): 16/02/2012 - 23/02/2012

Location: www.facebook.com/uwipress

February 2012 is Black History Month and The UWI Press honours the occasion by connecting its authors with their readers.

The UWI Press invites all to visit its Facebook page on Thursday 16th and 23rd February, when some of its authors will answer the question, How have the experiences of the enslaved, and the effect of slavery in Jamaica, been reflected in your book?

Be one of the first three persons to write “UWI PRESS” on the UWI Press Facebook page before each author’s presentation to get a free chapter from each of the eight books that will be highlighted and for your chance to win a copy of one of these books!

You can also view each presentation live at http://tv.mona.uwi.edu/live
