In The Fires of Hope – 2nd Panel Discussion on Gens d’Arime: Arima Histories

UWI’s History Department invites the Campus community to the second panel discussion of its In The Fires of Hope: 50 Years of Independence Lecture Series, on Tuesday 27th March, 2012, at 6pm, at the Arima Town Hall. This discussion, titled “Gens d’Arime: Arima Histories,” will focus on the development of Arima, one of the country’s most dynamic and historical communities.

Panelists include:

  • Carib President, Ricardo Bharath-Hernandez, who will be representing The First Peoples
  • Broadcaster and Arima Personality ­ Holly Betaudier, who will discuss the general development of Arima

 

There will also be a special exhibition by the National Archives of Trinidad and Tobago, Ministry of Arts and Multiculturalism.
