The Campus community is invited to the fourth installment of the Great Debate series on Thursday 29th March, 2012, from 6-8pm, at the Faculty of Engineering, Lecture Theatre 1, Block 13. 

Titled ‘What do you say to abortion?,’ the discussion will look at the legal, medical, ethical, and scientific issues concerning the termination of pregnancy, and will feature the following speakers:

  1. Grace Sirju-Charran, Senior Lecturer, Life Sciences, UWI
  2. Lynette Seebaran-Suite, Attorney-at-law, Advocates for Safe Parenthood: Improving Reproductive Equity
  3. Garthlyn Craig, Family Practitioner, Hospital Christian Fellowship
  4. Hyacinth Griffith, Attorney-at-law, Lawyers for Jesus

Moderator: Wesley Gibbings 

The Great Debate series is hosted by a group of lecturers at the Faculty of Science and Agriculture, and endeavours to sensitize students to basic life questions.
