The Department of Life Sciences of the Faculty of Science and Agriculture at The UWI, St. Augustine hosts its second research symposium: “Science in the Real World,” on Thursday 19^th April 2012, from 8:30am to 4:30pm at Room B, Frank Stockdale Building.  

This symposium is to showcase the research being conducted by undergraduate and postgraduate students of the host Department, through oral and poster presentations.

Key speakers scheduled for the symposium are Dr. David Rampersad, Director, and Ms. Lauren Boodhoo, Business Development Manager, both of the Office of Research Development and Knowledge Transfer.
