UWI’s Department of History invites the campus community to the third panel discussion of its In the Fires of Hope: 50 Years of Independence Lecture Series, titled ‘Caroni Revisited’. This panel discussion will take place on Thursday 10th May 2012 at 6pm at the Visitor Information Centre, Brechin Castle, Couva.

Panelists include: Economic Historian, Mr. Lovell Francis  

There will also be a special special presentation by the Sugar Village Heritage Committee and an exhibition by the National Archives of Trinidad and Tobago, Ministry of Arts and Multiculturalism.
