The University Council of Jamaica hosts the Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE) 9th Annual Conference, "Internationalization and Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education: Issues and Challenges".

The CANQATE Conference and Pre-Conference Workshop (31st October) both provide an opportunity for policy and decision makers, educators, quality assurance professionals, and industry personnel to share best practices, present research findings, and review recent developments in quality assurance in tertiary education.

This year’s conference coincides with Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary and the University Council of Jamaica’s 25th Anniversary celebrations, and promises to be an exciting networking event.
