UWI collaborates with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to host a Town Hall Meeting for UWI students and students of other tertiary level institutions on Wednesday 5th September, 2012, from 5-7pm, at the Daaga Auditorum.
This meeting aims to encourage discourse on key economic issues facing the region and provide an avenue for the IMF to present information on its work in the region.
Panelists include Mr. Saul Lizondo, Interim Director of the Western Hemispheric Department; Dr. Gene Leon, IMF Senior Resident Representative, Jamaica; as well as representatives from the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) and the Department of Economics at The UWI St. Augustine Campus.
