A Solutions Agenda to Key Competitiveness Challenges

The Caribbean Centre for Competitiveness (CCfC) hosts the region’s first Competitiveness Forum to address critical competitiveness challenges facing the Caribbean. This forum will be held from 5th-6th November, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad. 

Following the theme “a Solutions Agenda to Key Competitiveness Challenges,” the forum will address three of the region’s critical competitiveness challenges: 

  1. Unlocking financing for small and medium enterprises(SMEs)
  2. Human capital development models for competitiveness
  3. Internationalization of SMEs 

The forum will be split into two clinics. Clinic 1 will highlight success stories and present business models to financiers. In Clinic 2 a panel comprised of members of large successful exporting companies will field questions from the audience, providing ‘how-to solutions’ on moving businesses forward.
