As a part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations, the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA), will host its annual student concert by students of the Guitar Ensemble on Saturday 1^st December, at 4pm, at the UWI Open Campus Auditorium, Gordon Street, St. Augustine. The concert, entitled “This is NOT a Guitar”, will feature performances from the BA and Certificate programmes in Musical Arts.   

It will be themed “Allegory of the Cave – Plato”, and comprise music from famous composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Baulch, Leontovych and Strauss. These pieces, arranged by Mr. Anthony Williams, Lecturer at the DCFA, will be performed and conducted by students.

All are invited to attend this unique and dynamic concert.
